of Conway, AR
March 17, 1934 - August 17, 2015
William (Bill) Robins, 81, of Conway went home to be with Jesus his savior, Monday, August 17, 2015.
The son of the late Hughey and Ina Robins. He was born March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) 1934, which was kinda neat because he was proud of his Irish heritage.
He is survived by his wife, Billie. They had 50 happy years of marriage and celebrated their anniversary this past July. He is also survived by his son Raymond (Ray) Robins of whom he was very proud. Billie's family, whom he thought of as his own, with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bill was an active member of Second Baptist Church. While in the Army, he served in the Military Band. Bill had that great smile, which will be missed by many.
Visitation will be 3-4 pm, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel (501) 327-7727. Funeral service will follow at 4 pm. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, 222 W Pope St., Monticello, AR 71655.
So sorry for your loss.
Billie and Family: I could not attend Bill's funeral because of Kay's surgery. Our Sunday School class has lost a good friend and member. We are praying for you during this time of bereavement. God Bless You!
Billie and Ray,
Sorry to hear about this news. It's been many years but I always remember how much fun Ray and I had going through the house uncovering Ray's hidden stash of candy! Let's just say Bill and Billie had a lot of "grace" with us!
"For I do not consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in us" Rom. 8:18

Billie and Ray,
May God lift you up and heal your spirit as only He can. Bill was a precious soul and kind gentleman whom I loved. He always treated me as family which meant so very much to me. I will miss him, but I am relieved that his suffering is over and he is now in the presence of his Heavenly Father. I love you both, please let me know if you need anything at all.
Karen

I was a knew Bill both as a fellow Kiwanis member and his State Farm Agent , but I was most proud to have known him as a fellow believer in Jesus. He always had a smile and kind word to say. IN CHRIST, Larry Herndon
Billie, our sincerest sympathy, prayers and thoughts are with you and Ray. So sorry for your loss, but his suffering is over and he is in a better place. So glad we have been able to visit together
in recent days. May God bless you and give you comfort and peace. Love you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one brings much pain, but we can find comfort from the Bible. In John 5:28,29 we see how there is a resurrection hope for the dead. Also, Revelation 21:4 shows that Jehovah will get rid of sickness and death forever. I hope that these scriptures can help all in grief.
