JOE DAVID WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE COUSIN,HE ALWAYS HAD A JOYFUL SMILE. ALWAYS IN A GOOD MOOD. I AM GOING TO MISS JOE DAVID. ONE THING I TRULY BELIEVE HE WAS SAVED. MY MOTHER EDITH BUNTING, JOE REALLY LOVED HER HE WAS BORN ON HER BIRTHDAY. APRIL 23. JOE I BELIEVE GOD IS SMILING ,HE HAS AN ANGEL. ALWAYS WILL LOVE YOU JOE.
When I was a girl living in Conway, Joe David would come down to my grandparents Earnest and Edith Bunting (my grandmother and his mother Dorothy were sisters), just about every week. He really loved his Aunt Edith! He was always so sweet to her. If you knew my grandmother, they were so much alike....kind, sweet spirits. Family, he has joined his parents, sister and brothers who have gone before him to be with Jesus! My deepest sympathy to Mary and the children/grands.
To the Lasker Family, Marvin and Daniel, we are so sorry for your loss, and want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We remember you guys from the roller skating rink, WAY BACK WHEN. You grew up skating with our kids. Your dad was an awesome man, and he will be sadly missed. May God bless and strengthen the
Lasker Family.

Joe Lasker, my Brother-in-Law was a good man. Anytime you ask him how he was doing, he would always say I am truly Blessed.
He would always meet you with a smile, a handshake, and a hug.
He always talked about bring others to Christ. Joe was that light that Christ looks for in all of us

To all the Family: Psalm 121: 1 - 2
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made the heaven and earth.
So sorry for your loss. Our paths haven't crossed much since high school, but when I first met Joe David in Jr high he was shy but always a smile on his face-like an inner glow just waiting to burst out. We were always kind to each other. That's how I always will remember him....

I knew Joe from the early 70s when he joined the Blankenship Taekwondo school. Joe and I became fast friends because that was how Joe was. He was forever friendly, gracious and humble. He never spoke for himself with his mouth, but his actions, giving, and personality spoke volumes about the man. A great technician, formidable competitor, and ally, Joe set a standard in his performance that many aspired to achieve. 'Smokin Joe' Lasker was our name for Joe, a name said with great respect. He is loved and will be missed.
Joe David was one of the kindest men I have ever known. Always a smile. Would give you the shirt off of his back if it would help you. God has truly gained an Angel. Will miss you Joe!
The Haney-Vaughn family would like to send our condolences to the Lasker Family. The small Church with the Big Heart (as Bro-Lasker would say)!
