Royce Stone (57) of Conway, AR was born in Texarkana, AR on March 11 1957 to Wm Clark Stone and Joan Rountree Gunter lost his courageous battle with cancer on March 24, 2014. He was brave beyond measure. In his younger years, he was a bricklayer and welder. He was co-owner of Stone Sales in Conway, AR. Royce was a Baptist. He loved to fish and to ride his Harley, and had a great wit that was loved by all.
Royce was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathie Stone; 2 sons, JD (Renee) Stone and Josh Stone, all of Conway; 2 Sisters, Phyllis (Jim) Miles and Helen Stout of Little Rock, AR; Mother-in-law, Margaret (Kenneth) Hooper of Mena, AR; 2 Brothers-in-laws, Steve (Pam) Hickerson, Scott (Angela) Hickerson of Texarkana, and Sister-in-law Paula Crouch of Mena, AR; 2 Nieces and 3 Nephews ( and spouses); 9 great nieces and nephews. Along with extended Family and Friends.
A visitation will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at One Church, 1073 Front St, Conway, 72032 with funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Conway, AR.

Ive known and done business with Royce for over 30 years. I have enjoyed laughing and having a great time with him over the years. You will be missed my friend.
Goodbye for now my sweet-sweet cousin. We will all see you very soon and have the biggest Rountree reunion you ever attended. Grandmommy, get on those syrup cakes cause this is a very large group as you well know and some brittle would be hittin Aunt JoJo. My prayers are with you Kathy and Royce's sweet family. "If you could only see him now". He's walking streets of gold in no pain. Thank you Royce for the rose at Aunt JoJo's funeral. You will never know how I treasure it, and the thought of you giving it to me, and always will.

Rest in the hands of God my Little Brother. No more suffering. I've never met a more courageous man. You are Jason's hero and mine. Our love is forever. Never fear, we'll take care of Kathie and the boys.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Royce was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Always a smile. He fought the battle so hard and was so very positive in good times and bad. I worked with him for many years (Hubbell) and he will be greatly missed. My Deepest Sympathy to you.
Royce will be missed by all. I was the Sales Rep for Broan-Nutone in Arkansas for years and Royce and I met at the Counter days at the distributors . I enjoyed his since of humor and I respected him too .What a great Man.

Royce, like his father, was a great man in both the business world and in his personal world. It was my pleasure to work with him for many years. I'm so sorry for your loss I took care of Royce at Carti in the lab he was a very nice man that liked to joke around with us when he came in, he will be missed. My prayers are with y'all.

Last night I lost part of my heart.... as my beautiful sweet brother lost his courageous battle to cancer.... he fought it long and hard and even worked up to the last hospitalization, in excruciating pain.... rest in peace dear brother !! you are missed and will always be loved !!!

I always enjoyed getting calls from Royce just to say he saw a car and thought about me and just wanted to share it. It wasn't always about business when he called.
