Carl Lee Porter, 59 of Lamar, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Fort Smith; AR. Carl was born April 19, 1959 in Clarksville, AR. to Mr. Freddie Lee and Loretta Sue (Clark) Porter. Carl worked at Eureka Brick plant in Clarksville as transfer operator until they closed; he also worked as a production worker for Tyson hatchery until he became disabled. Carl was a member of West Side Full Gospel Church of Clarksville.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Patricia Sue Shatwell.
Mr. Porter is survived by his three brothers: Fred Porter (Evelyn) of Clarksville, Phillip Porter (Sissy) of Magazine, and Robert Porter of Lamar; a brother by choice Doug Cation (Lori Dodd); Brother In-law Felix Shatwell numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and other family.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the West Side Full Gospel Church of Clarksville with Bro. David Raburn officiating.
