Perry Juan Cowan, 70 of Broken Arrow, passed away March 1, 2018 in Broken Arrow, OK. Perry was born March 7, 1947, in Fallsville, AR. to Mr. Alden and Rose Cowan. Perry enjoyed working, fishing, and hunting playing baseball and loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alden and Rose Cowan and one daughter Pam Saunders.
Mr. Cowan is survived by his wife of 39 years Beverly Cowan of Broken Arrow; son James Parsons of Broken Arrow; two daughters: Christy Bullard and Shyla Jenkins of Broken Arrow; seven grandchildren: Makayla and Austin Baldwin, Austin and Nicholas Burk, Kaleb Cowan, Misti Evans, and Brent Cook; five great-grandchildren; Zoie, Phoebe, Braxton, Alden, and Vivian; and a host of other family and friends.
Mr. Cowan's funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday March 8, 2018 at Salus Free Holiness Church in Newton County, Arkansas with Bro. Robert Boen Officiating. Mike Harrison, Bobby Boren, Dave Roughly, Michael Henry, Brent Cook, and Jeff Foulst will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Merrill, Jack Harper, and Troy Smith.
