Jerry Dean Gould of Clarksville, AR went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2018. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clarksville. Jerry was a graduate of the University of Ozarks as well as earning her Master's degree in English from University of Central Arkansas. Jerry was a retired school teacher of 30 years.
Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, MD and Kate (Neal) Hodges, and her brother John Neal Hodges.
Jerry leaves behind her husband, Jimmy Gould, daughter and son-in-law Paula and Robert Archer Jr., as well as sisters and brother-in-law Betty and Ralph Ehren of Plano, TX, Chrystal Gallups of Ocala, FL. and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of many friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Gould's funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 2, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Clarksville, AR. with Dr. Darrell Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland cemetery.
Glen Hartlein, Darrell Weathers, Jeff Dean, Johnny Dean, Randy Gresham, and Dustin Dean will be serving as Pallbearers.

I'm sorry to hear of Mrs. Gould! She was such amazing teacher and a friend! My heart goes out to her family! We will keep her family in our thoughts and prayers!

I loved being with Jerry. I admire how strong she was during this illness. Will miss her so much. I rehoice in rhe fact that she was a Christian, and we will see each orher again.. Praying God's strength for you.
