I remember Aunt Stella as a serene person. From a farm family with four brothers and two sisters, and having had every opportunity to grow up boisterous and, eh, demonstrative, she always seemed to me to be the epitome of calmness and coolness. Like Mr. Ed, she was always on a steady course. As Abraham Lincoln had urged, she had malice toward none and charity for all. I never heard her raise her voice nor saw her so much as arch an eyebrow.

And now, like St. Paul, she has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith, and she has been awarded the crown of righteousness. WELL DONE, Aunt Stella!

I'm so sorry to hear of Stella’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW
