Mrs. Marilyn knocked on my door one afternoon to invite my children to vacation bible school. I was in a world of hurt. I only had one 6 month old baby at the time. She came in to tell me about Jesus. That day I prayed the sinners prayer with her and she brought me to Christ in my living room. I've never forgotten that day and I've never forgotten her. My walk with Christ has been a great adventure and I was hoping to tell her about it so I looked her up online today and found this obituary.
Thank you Marilyn.

Marilyn helped me find my first job out of college (College of the Ozarks) when she worked in the life center. What a joy she was, always positive and happy. She was a joy to be around. Prayers to all of her family.

Marilyn was such a wonderful friend to my parents, Howard and Virginia Smith, who met her and R.L. through Gideons. Even after dad passed away and mom moved to Rogers, Marilyn would call and come visit. Such a great worker for the Lord. She will be missed but we all know she is in a much, much better place.

Marilyn was a wonderful person, she truly lived her Christian faith and was a good role model for all Christ followers. I will always be thankful for her marriage to my Dad, she was a blessing to him and to all of his children. She will be missed, only eternity will show how many souls she took with her to heaven.

I am so very sorry for your loss. May the fond memories of the times you shared bring you comfort and peace during this most difficult of times. We can look forward to the time when God will wipe away the tears from our eyes and swallow up death forever, found at Isaiah 25:8. My deepest sympathy to you all.

It was our privilege to work with Marilyn at the College of the Ozarks. She was always pleasant and a pleasure to be around. She exhibited a Christian attitude in all the dealings we had. We also knew and loved her brother, Blake. He was in Lonnie's class. He had a sweet spirit and died too young....Our condolences to all who loved her.
