John Joseph Majorwitz, 90 of Lamar, Passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Russellville with his loved ones by his side. John was born October 13, 1926 in Fairbanks TX to Mr. John Paul and Pauline Majorwitz. John served our country during World War two in the U.S. Army he loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife Jerlene Majorwitz, daughter Gloria Lovell, and grandson Dowin Beavers III.
Mr. Majorwitz is survived by his Children: Priscilla and Tommy Delgado; Anna and Bennie Hampton: Melvin Wiley; Carol and Bill McLain; Daniel D. Majorwitz; Shirlie and Dowin Beavers II; Mary Evelyn Majorwitz; John J.(Buddy) Majorwitz; Kathy and Billy Mueller; Son-in-law Gene Lovell; one brother William P and Mary Majorwitz; one step-sister Mary Ann Rufino; Grandchildren Joey and Robin Delgado, Christa and Kevin Schouweiler, Lisa and Justin Hood, Melissa and Justin Singleton, Rachel and Phillip Collie, Melanie Wiley, Will Vick III, Angle and Buck Carraway, Christina and Keith Heck, Ashley Majorwitz, Barbara Peavy, Lisa and Chuck Thacker, Natalie Beavers, Travis and Candace Mueller, Joshua and Cory Mueller, Jared and Kassi Mueller, Jonathan Armagost; 21 Great Grandchildren; and a host of friends and other family.
Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Majorwitz's funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God with Pastor Phillip Collie and Pastor Jackie Pledger officiating. Burial will follow in the Owens cemetery Joey Delgado, Jacob Delgado, Justin Hood, Justin Singleton, Kevin Schouweiler, and Dillon Schouweiler serving as Pallbearers.
