Raymon Richard Pelts, 83 of Clarksville, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 16, 2017 in Fort Smith. Richard was born November 12, 1933 in Britton Oklahoma to Mr. Pleasant ''Ples'' Richard & Artie M (Cloninger) Pelts. Richard enjoyed his church, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Larry Pelts, and Howard Pelts.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Betty Sue (Butler) Pelts; one daughter Susan and Larry Sanders of Clarksville; two grandchildren Larry (Digger) and Shelly Sanders of Clarksville, Christopher and Mandi Sanders of Semmes, AL; seven great-grandchildren; as well as sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for Mr. Pelts will be 6:00 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Strawberry Assembly of God Church, with Bro. Glen McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Minnow Cemetery with Christopher Sanders, Larry ''Digger'' Sanders, Terry Pelts, Ethan Sanders, Toby Pelts, and Tanner Owens Serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Sanders, Don Carey, and Mark Tumbleson.
