Darrel Roy Chavers, 59 of Lamar, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Darrel was born September 1, 1957 in Clarksville to Mr. Charles and Ida (Demmitt) Chavers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, and telling stories and jokes. Mr. Chavers is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Chavers is survived by his wife, Glenda Chavers; two daughters, Brandie Yates, and Amy Chavers; one son, Joseph Cowell; eight grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews, and twenty-one great-nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 10, 2017 in the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Glen Wayne Chavers officiating.
