Kellawain ''Kelly'' Ritchie, 79 of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home. He was born in Madison County Arkansas in a small town called Spokeplant on November the 13th, 1938 to Toy and Ethie Ritchie. Kelly, to whom he was called by all his friends and family, was born into a large family, eight brothers, Ray, Theodore, Robert (Bob), Argust, Fred, Charles, Kenneth, and Lonnie Ritchie, and four sisters, Edith, LaVerne, Thelma, and Evallyn Ritchie. He is survived by the love of his life, Janet Ritchie, to whom he had been married to for 33 years.
Kelly and Janet have six children who he loved dearly, Gary and wife Shanna Ritchie, Danny and wife Debbie Ritchie, Lora Kettlewell, Rhonda and husband Russell Cash, Floyd and wife Amy King. He has seven grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, Jason, Samantha, Kendra, Tyler, and Kayla. He has three great-grandchildren, Annalee, Ridge, and Aubree; he also has numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Audre Poteet officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Cemetery with Dale Arbaugh, Mike Arbaugh, Boyd Arbaugh, Teddy Ritchie, Rande Smith, and Steven Arbaugh serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Patterson, Robbie Ritchie, Clint Dewberry, and Billy Ritchie.
