Melba June Freeman, 72 of Lamar, went to heaven Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Lamar. Mrs. Freeman was born May 3, 1944 in Dover to Mr. Tillman Esco & Wanda Lee (Shuffield) Boze. June married the love of her life on June 3, 1961; she enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends. She was a poultry grower and a cattle farmer. June is preceded in death by her parents, and niece, Angie Waldo.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, Don Freeman; one daughter, Karen and Thomas Nelson; one son, Michael Don Freeman and fiancé, Trang Luu; grandchildren, Kayla and Josh Deal, Jason and Sky Freeman, Summer and Justin Pitts, and Cole Nelson; great-grandchildren, Mia Hamilton, and Jase Deal; two sisters, Barbara Hallum, and Sheila and Jeff Byrum; nieces and nephews, Jackie Harris, Bud Freeman, Luke Freeman, Becky Hardgrave, Sherri Deal, Brian Roper, Mark Waldo, and LeighAnn Briscoe, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Freeman will be 2:00 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 16, 2015 at the Lee's Chapel Assembly of God, with Bro. Bobby Freeman, and Bro. Dewayne Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie's Chapel Cemetery with Cole Nelson, Brian Roper, Jason Freeman, Josh Deal, Justin Pitts, and Clayton Roper serving as pallbearers, and Elvira Stockton, Betty Lou Freeman, Edith McMahon, and Mary Dean serving as honorary pallbearers.

So sorry for your loss. June was an awesome neighbor to Vic(deceased) and I when we lived on the farm in Lamar.
