Mrs. Mary Angeline Grigsby, 77 of Hartman, passed away Monday December 8, 2014 in Hartman. She was born January 20, 1937 in Hunt, AR to William and Velma (Morrow) Askins.
Mary loved her children and grandchildren and just loved life. She was always smiling-so much so that her nickname was ''smilely.'' She was a hard worker all of her life, and was a Baptist by faith.
Mrs. Grigsby is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bo Grigsby; brothers, Coleman Askins and Harold Dean Askins. She is survived by her husband, Vondel Grigsby of Hartman; son, Frank Grigsby of Hunt; daughter, Teresa Lincoln of Hartman; sisters, Louise Arbaugh of Hartman, Wilma Grigsby of Hunt, Sue Stepp of Clarksville, Virginia and John Hodge of Clarksville; brothers, William and Ollie Askins of Hartman, Glen Askins of Clarksville, Varl Askins of Clarksville; six grandsons; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Grigsby's funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Liberty Hill Church with Bro. John Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
