Manvil Lafelt Palmer of Clarksville passed away on October 15, 2014 in Clarksville. He was born in Clarksville on March 27, 1949 to James and Willie Barnett Palmer. Manvil was a truck driver and loved being outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, which he treasured teaching his grandsons to do. He also enjoyed mowing his yard. He loved his kids and grandkids and his grandsons especially enjoyed laughing at his frustrations while he drove. His family was his life.
Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife, Teresa Daniel Palmer of Clarksville; daughters, Jessica Palmer of Clarksville, Tina Nichols of Lamar, Valerie and her husband Curtis Houston of Hartman; grandchildren, Deaven B. Weaver, Darrin B. Weaver, Tyler P. DeBusk, and Codie L. Houston; step-grandchildren, Victoria Houston and Ryan Houston; great-grandson, Aaron B. Weaver.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm, Sunday, October 19 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00pm.in the Roller-Cox Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jim Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Annie's Chapel Cemetery.
