Mary Carleen Pabst, 78, of Coal Hill, AR entered into eternal peace on Monday 15 September, 2014 in Paris, AR.
Mary was born in Anna, Illinois on November 19, 1935 to the late William Opal Pearl Newman and Mary Vesta (Brooksher) Newman. Mary was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved gardening, was an avid bird watcher, and loved to be with nature at every opportunity. She brightened the lives of all she touched.
Mary is survived by her husband, Charles H. Pabst of Coal Hill, AR; a sister, Alice Pearleen Rainey and husband Jack of Holladay, TN; one daughter, Mary Kathleen Rainey-Slach and husband Kenneth of Hartman, AR; one son, William David Rainey of Clarksville, AR; one granddaughter Krystal Michelle Albright, husband Justin and great-grandson Ethan, all of Carl Junction, MO; one step-son, Charles (Chuck) Pabst, wife Cathy and granddaughter Stephanie and grandson Michael all of O'Fallon, MO; one step-daughter, Debbie Beasley with three grandchildren John, Angela, and David and three great-grandchildren, all of Granite City, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 1100 am on Saturday, 11 October 2014, in the Chapel at the Roller Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, AR.
Any and all memorials may be made to the local Dementia/Alzheimer's Group of your choice.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in that they will find comfort during this difficult time. Mary was such a wonderful lady. She treated my three boys as if they were her grandchildren, and I miss visiting with her on the phone. I will never forget her.
