of Alexander, AR
January 21, 1950 - June 21, 2018
Richard A. Zornes of Bryant, Arkansas, went to sleep in the loving arms of his sister, Cathy, to awake in the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 21st, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones on earth, and his loved ones in Heaven. He was born into this world on January 21, 1950 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Francis A. Zornes and Virginia Zornes Callahan. He was preceded by his parents, his sister Frances, his stepbrother Dicky Wayne, and his lifelong friend, Larry Ratcliff.
Survivors include Cathy Treat of Bryant; brother, George Zornes of Siloam Springs; stepsister, Sherry Mears of Oklahoma City; numerous adoring nephews and nieces; and his best friend, Hollace Eifling.
He will be sorely missed not only by his family and friends, but by the multitude of wildlife who feasted on the treats he generously dispensed daily on the deck outside his sunroom man cave.
Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018, at Bauxite Cemetery with Roger Reed officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047)
