Betty Lou Bond Gregory, 84, of Benton passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. She was born November 2, 1931 in Warren, AR to the late Gus and Juanita Green Bond.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas (Bill) Gregory. Betty was a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Little Rock for over 50 years and has been a member of New Life Baptist in Alexander (Salem Community) since moving to be close to family in 2002. She was a resident of Mt. Carmel Community for 3 years and most recently has been loved and cared for at Pleasant Hill Care Home in Benton.

She is survived by her son, Paul and wife Cathy of Little Rock and her daughter, Ruthie Bain (Allen) of Benton. She is also survived by grandsons, Eric Bain (Amanda) and Chris Bain (Kirsten); great grandson, Jack Eli Bain all of Benton; brother Gayle Bond of Tucson, AZ, niece Rachel Torpey (Flip) of Southbury, CT, and cousin, Judith Nan Rogers of Clinton, MO.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at New Life Baptist Church on Samples Road in Alexander with Dr. Sid Sample officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to service at the church.

The family is grateful for the love and devotion she provided all these years and thankful to God for her sweet and gentle spirit, even when Alzheimer's took over she remained as sweet as ever.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
(3) "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. (4)
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

Such a good likeness, it shows her sweetness in her face.
