December 16, 1932 - March 15, 2016

Margie Ann Chastain-Wallace, age 83, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2016.

She was a life-long resident of Saline County. She was a homemaker, a wonderful cook, and an avid gardener. Margie was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church in Benton.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ada Barnett, sisters, Juanita Smith and Geraldine Barnett, and husbands, Carrol Chastain and Tommy Wallace.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Diana Stensland (George) of Russellville; her step-daughter and caregiver, Linda Diane Kay (Leonard) of Benton; two grandchildren, Susan Hudson (Tony) of Russellville, and David Detherage of Memphis, and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Gage Hudson of Russellville. She is also survived by one sister, Marie Browning (David) of Benton.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).

Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words of Jehovah God. We find the beautiful hope of the resurrection at John 5:28-29 and then Revelation 21:3-4 shows Jehovah will do away with death.
