Elizabeth Rose Lounsbury, age 98, of Long Beach, California passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Downey, California on January 30, 1917 to the late John and Mary Cabral. She was a homemaker and of Nazarene faith. She loved traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lounsbury and her sister, Doris Pitt.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Lounsbury and wife, Diana of Tull, Arkansas and Donald Lounsbury and wife, Marylee of Roseville, California; six grandchildren, Emilia Bessire and husband, Michael of Benton, Arkansas, Kelsey Starr and husband, Robert of Florida, Tiffany Weyand and husband, Steve of Redding, California, Christopher Lounsbury of California, Amy Lounsbury of Los Alamitos, California, and Jeremy Lounsbury of Orange County, California; six great-grandchildren, Luke and Levi Bessire of Benton, Joshua and Noel Weyand of Redding, California, and Brooke and Brennon Lounsbury of Orange County.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
Funeral services and interment will be announced at a later date in Cypress, California.
