Bobby Ray Bond, age 74, of Malvern, passed away Friday May 29, 2015. He was born January 19, 1941 to the late Eddie Milton Bond and Eva (Bond) Tarvin in Traskwood. He was a member of Glen Rose Assembly of God and a United States Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Bond and one sister, Gloria Sheppard.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bond; four daughters, Vickie Butterfield and husband, Jimmy of Perryville, Joanne Rodriquez of Hot Springs, Lisa Farr and husband, Tommy of Hot Springs, and Evie Hammonds and husband, Jeremy of Gurdon; six grandchildren, Christian Rankin, Bailey Glover, Hailey Neal, Carter Hammonds, and Brandon and Jake Butterfield; one great-granddaughter; Candice Butterfield; three brothers, Joe Bond and wife, Nancy of Hot Springs, Charles Feldman and wife, Brenda of Paron, and Jim Fewell of Paron; four sisters, Shirley Walker of Paron, Marie Pelton and husband, Jerry of Benton, Freida Martin of Florida, and Maggie Kilcrease and husband, Kenny of Virginia Beach, VA; his previous wife, Vickie (Bond) Conkling and husband John from Osceola, MO; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Glen Rose Assembly of God, 1856 Stringtown Road, Malvern, AR 72104 with Bro. Temon Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Fairplay Cemetery in the Fairplay Community.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. May the God of all comfort sustain you as you await the promises found at John 5:28,29 and Rev. 21:4 where God promises to do away with all the things that cause us suffering and pain including death here on the earth forever.
