Bonnie Hulsey, 92, of Benton died Monday, January 12, 2015. She was born October 31, 1922 to the late Jess G. Meredith and Renie Lou Ward Meredith and was a nursing assistant at the Arkansas State Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hulsey; her daughter, Reva Barcley; a son, Ronnie Hulsey; and a step-son, Ross Hulsey.
Survivors include a son, Bill Hulsey of Bagwell; four daughters, Jewell Whitfield of Malvern, Vera Milam of Bryant, Linda Norman of Alexander, and Lena Hussey of Jacksonville, OR; two sisters, Eldaree Holt of Alexander and Gladis Witham of Hot Springs; a brother, Dale Meredith of Little Rock; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Clarence Shell officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton. Serving as pallbearers are Cecil Thornberry, Danny Hulsey, Roy Hulsey, Alex Ammons, Jeremie Huddleston and Jason Pruitt.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, January 13th at the funeral home.
Love to all the family from your aunt gracie Huksey Dunagan in Oregon. I am 92 now. Same age as dear Bonnie, my life long friend and sister in law . We miss being there and seeing you all.
