Michael Lee and I were long-time friends from McGehee. We went to church together, laughed together, told secrets to one another, and even played bridge when I was home from teaching school in the summer. I am heart-broken that, because we were out-of-town when he died and therefore had no newsoaoer alert, I did not see his obituary in time to come to his funeral. I loved Michael Lee, and he loved me...as friends, of course, and I will miss knowing that he still lives in Benton and that I might just see him once in a while at a Pops Concert in Little Rock, Many condolences to his wife, Jane, and to his other friends. It is so sad for Jane to lost her husband/companion, but it is almost as sad for me to lose a dear, long-time friend.. Ann

Mr. Ivy was always one of my favorite people to see come into the bank. He would always have me and anyone else inside laughing our heads off with every word he said. I really enjoyed the time spent in my office just catching up here and there. I can honestly say that I didn't have a business relationship with him, but a friendship with him. I will be praying you Jane and your family that that all of you will be given strength to get through this tough time. He will be missed very much!

Mike was a super good guy, and will be missed by many. You, Mike, and I had many fun times when you both shopped my meat counter at Kroger here in Little Rock. Those great times I will never forget.

Jane: Sorry I never got the opportunity to meet Michael & you. I am a decendent of the Boldebook family and remember visiting Great Aunt Clara in McGehee when I was very young. Also, met Michael's dad, Thomas, by accident while I was working for the AR Health Dept. in the early 1960's. So sorry for your loss. Frances

Have not seen Mike since he graduated from McGehee High. Mike was older than I but he was always so nice. I remember his always smiling and laughing coming down the halls of our school. Our dad were with MoPac RR and I visited with his dad when I went with my dad to the RR Yard office. Mike's mom made me a beautiful doll for Christmas when I was about eleven or so. Even being younger, I feel a sadness that Mike has passed and offer up my prayers to you at this difficult time.

Jane, I couldn't believe it when I heard about Mike. Helen called to let me know. I am still in shock. I am so blessed in having known him and you for so many years. I especially am grateful to him for all the times he would get many of us together from DDS - not many people can say they still are in touch with people they used to work with that many years ago. Praying for you right now and knowing how much he will be missed.

Jane, I am so sorry to hear about Mike. I was thinking about him Saturday when I was in the Chapel. You guys never missed a Saturday in changing out the Candles. Going to miss him very much. Much love to you and the family. "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields.
