Mary Catherin Bonner, 89, passed away December 9, 2016 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was born in Texarkana to James Johnston and Maude Estell Bohon. Mary had two favorite things in life, her grandchildren and fishing/camping on Lake Ouachita (which was almost year round) making friends from all over the United States.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Silas Bonner, Sr.; two brothers: Tom Johnston and Billy Johnston; and a sister Virginia Gentry. She is survived by her brother, Gene Johnston; two sons: Silas Bonner, Jr. and Michael Bonner; 5 grandchildren; 9great-grandchidren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 11 AM, Thursday, December 15, 2016. Visitation will be at 10 AM, prior to the service.
Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park, following the service.

Mrs. "B" was one of the niceness, kindest ladies "mothers" I had the pleasure of knowing most of my life. Her youngest son Mike and I became friends in the first grade and have been the best of friends ever since. Mrs. B was always there with a sweet smile and a pleasant demeanor. I don't know how she put up with all the shenanigans Mike and I where always into, but she did with that sweet smile. I'm sure glad we had a chance to have that last visit not long ago: it meant the world to me. Love and miss you "Mrs. B" bk
