we were stationed together in our first assignment out of boot camp in 1955 and became close friends. In the early 60's, after we both were married, we were stationed at different bases in Texas which allowed for Dorothy and my Carol to know each other.

Condolences to Dorothy and family.I know you will miss him terribly, He was one of a kind and I only wish that sometime over the years I would have stopped by Snuggs Circle to visit John and Dorothy to renew our friendship and relive the fun times.

GOD Bless you Dorothy, stay strong and know we all love you.

I joined the Navy with Johnny and trained in the all Arkansas Company 404 in Basic Training. I served as a hospital corpsman and left the navy as a Chief to enter the gospel ministry in 1969. I loved the years I served in the Navy, mostly assigned to the Marine Corps which which I served in Vietnam. My prayers are with Dorothy and the family. I regret not having been acquainted with Chief Snuggs in our later years here in Arkansas. Please feel free to contact me at any time. God bless you all.
