Ginger,

I express my condolences to you and your family on the passing of your husband. I know that it is hard to bear right now, but remember that death is only the end of the physical life and the beginning of an eternal life. May my friendship and prayers ease you through this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Kedrick

JOHN was a great friend and fellow HAM. We first met at a repeater site full of poison ivy. We had to persuade the crew not to use weed eaters on the ivy - unless you are in a moon suit. We traded antennas, radios and stories for years while trying to support the D-Star effort in Arkansas. Last March, I picked John up and we went to the Russellville Hamfest. A great time as he wanted to see a number of old friends - and did - and John was his usual happy self there. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ginger and the family.

I had known John for several years in ham radio in central Arkansas, and he was working with John Nordlund, AD5FU, to set up D-Star in Arkansas. It was truly a shock to learn of his passing, and he will be sorely missed.
