Thomas Lewis Korte, 86, of Little Rock passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. He was born January 13, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph John and Marie Davis Korte. He was married to the love of his life, Helen Emogene Nier for 65 years. Thomas retired from May's Supply in the 80's.
He is preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. He is survived by his loving wife; three sons, Danny Korte (Debbie), Gary Korte (Paula) both of Little Rock, Tracy Korte (Jeannie) of East End; one daughter, Debbie Krueger (Jeryl) of Little Rock; fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Ricky Randle of Tucson, Arizona.
Thomas was a long time member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies were gardening, cracking and picking pecans.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M with a visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300 with Brother Mark Harris officiating. There will be a private burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 1223 Garfield, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72204.
To the family of Thomas Korte, I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences. I am truly sorry for the loss that your family is feeling. Even though I did not get to know Mr. Thomas, personally, it seems that he was such a caring and loving person. Some one who's family and friends will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. During this extremely difficult time, please turn to Jehovah God for much needed comfort. (2 Corinthians 1: 3,4) Something else that can bring your family comfort is cherishing the wonderful memories that you have of Mr. Thomas. These precious memories will console the family in the day's ahead.

Me and Gail are sadden due to the passing of Uncle Tommy, and our prayer is that you will be blessed during this time of your sorrow with strength and happiness and wonderful memories of his life while we had him with us here on earth.
So sorry we cannot be at the service, but hopefully we can see you in a couple of weeks when we return to Arkansas.
