Mr. Delbert Riley Leavell ''Riley'', 68, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, in Ft. Smith. He was born August 12, 1946, in Clarksville, AR to Calvin Gilbert and Vera Jewell (Delph) Leavell.
Riley enjoyed welding, riding four wheelers, hunting, shooting, and collecting guns. He loved his children and grandchildren and especially loved fishing with his grandchildren. He was always a very hard worker. Mr. Leavell is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald, Truman and Finis; sisters, Pearl Knight and Juanita McDoromott. He is survived by his wife, Mary Leora (Rosenberger) Leavell of Clarksville; son, Billy Leavell of Texas; daughter, Kristal Freeman of Lamar; grandsons, Nick Freeman and Nathan Freeman; brother, Donell Leavell; sisters, Jeanette Watson, Bobbie Jean Black, Norma Lee Wood. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00p.m., Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Leavell's funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Blake Herron officiating. Burial will follow in Hagarville Cemetery with Allen Keith, Carl McClaine, Ricky Wilkerson, Jonathan Freeman, Danny Rigsby, and Leon Meimerstorf serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Johnson County Road Crew.

I have such fond memories of Uncle Riley. As a young boy, he kept me entertained with his humorous stories and quick wit. He will be missed by all who knew him. Sending our thoughts and prayers for your peace and comfort.
