David Thomas Beck ''Shorty'', 50, of Vilonia, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014. He was born April 15, 1964 in Conway, AR. Shorty was preceded in death by his father, George Beck, Jr.
Shorty was of the Baptist faith and employed as a heavy equipment operator for Weaver & Bailey Inc.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed wood crafting and cooking, especially for family gatherings. Most of all Shorty loved spending time with his dogs, Jenny and Crush. Shorty was fun to be around and had a great sense of humor.

My deepest sympathy to you all. I'd like to offer these words of comfort. At John 5:28, 29 the Bible says 'those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.' This is Jesus' promise of a resurrection.
We are so sorry for your loss, praying for you all during this difficult time.
To the Beck family: May God be with you in your time of grief.

You will be greatly missed. You and I have been through a lot over the almost 40 years we have known each other and I am proud to say you have always been my friend and will forever be my best friend. You are now in a much better place, hopefully full of big bucks, bigger fish and more happiness than you can stand. You are my brother and I will always love you, with any luck I will see you again someday.
