Billy Dan Martin, 81 of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was born on January 24, 1933 in Danville, Arkansas to his parents Roy Cecil and Thelma Jewel (Moudy) Martin. He was a retired salesman of 45 years with Caterpillar and other companies and was a member of Dublin Freewill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Cecil and Thelma Jewel (Moudy) Martin; his wife of 56 years Alma ''Jick'' (Snow) Martin and two brothers.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Silveira and husband Anthony ''Manuel'' of Scranton and Diane Lucero of Clarksville; one son, Rick Snow and wife Mary of Scranton; one sister, Helen Amend of Fresno, California; one brother, Doyle Curtsinger and wife Jeri of Bakersfield, California; six grandchildren, Joe Lucero and wife Carmen of Conway, Justin Silveira of Scranton, William ''Boo'' Silveira of Scranton, Melissa Hogge and husband Dusty of Elk Grove, Califorina, Matthew Snow and wife Cristy of Clarksville, Shelley Porter and husband Jeremy of Clarksville and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Dublin Freewill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Shane Casper and Rev. Jeff Henderson. Burial will follow in Wares Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Joe Lucero, Matthew Snow, Jeremy Porter, Justin Silveira, William ''Boo'' Silveira and Bobby Snow.

So sorry for your loss. i will always remember sitting besides Mr. Martin watching Scranton basketball games. God bless all of you during this difficult time.
