Larry Ray Wood, 61, of Cushman died Monday, June 3, 2013 at White River Medical Center.
He was born November 26, 1951 in Batesville, the son of Boyce Ray Wood and Lavon Baxter Wood.
He loved being at home surrounded by his family that he dearly loved. He was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors. He also was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Becky Smith Wood of Cushman; three children, Jesse Wood of Cushman, Jennifer Caraway and husband, Chavin of Simms, Texas and Tiffany Williams and husband, Terry of Hattieville; a granddaughter, Katie Lynn Williams; his father, Boyce Wood of Cushman; and a brother, Michael Wood and wife, Fran of Cushman.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a nephew, Brandon Wood.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Ben Ryan and Bro. Jeff Holland officiating.
Burial will be at Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Sandtown under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers are Larry Lee, Jody Wood, Blaine Baxter, Paul Kimmer, Steve McMahan and Dion Stevens.
Honorary pallbearers are Ed O'Neill, Leroy Edgin, Warren Baxter and Carl Baxter.
Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
