Fannie Bell Hughes-Skinner
October 26, 1919 - November 22, 2009

Fannie Bell Cain Hughes Skinner passed to her reward on November 22, 2009 in Knasas City, Missouri.

Fannie Bell Cain Hughes Skinner was born on October 26, 1919 in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas to Paul Ambrose Cain and Coastie Leonia (Tuttle) Cain. She was one of eight children.

She married Ralph Marvin Hughes of Kahoka, Arkansas in 1942. They had two children Betty Lannell Hughes and David Arnold Hughes.

Before moving to Kansas City in 1959, Fannie and Ralph lived in Mountain View, Arkansas where he was City Marshal in the 1950’s. After Ralph’s death in 1972 she married David Skinner.

She is survived by her son, David A. Hughes of Kansas City, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and two siblings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five of her siblings, her daughter Betty Lannell Hughes and both husbands, Ralph Hughes and David Skinner.

Visitation is 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2009 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Interment will be in Chalybeate Springs Cemetery, Mtn. View.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
