Raymond Riley Turner

Raymond Riley Turner, 78, of Paris, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 21, 2009 in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born March 5, 1931 to Joseph Jackson Turner and Florence Ester Whitecotton. He was an oil field and construction worker. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Loyal, Selvin and Stanley Turner; four sisters, Catherine Turner, Mary Jones, Ruby Dale Butler and Ruth Storts.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Patsy L. (Johnson) Turner of 53 years; two sons, Jackie Ray and Curtis G. Turner of Paris, AR.; one daughter, Deborah Ann Gentry of Rudy, AR; one sister, Pauline Newman of Ft. Smith, AR; two brothers, Sammy Glen Turner of Midway, AR and Elton Turner of Paris, AR.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation 6-8:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2009 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel-Paris. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, at Assembly of God Church, Paris, with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery, St. Louis Valley Road, Paris, under the direction of Roller Funeral home-Paris.

Pallbearers are John Eugene Johnson, Tommy Case, Jeff Turner, Brandon Newman, Larry Turner and Scotty Storts.
