Ellen Lea of Jonesboro died Saturday at Jonesboro Health Care. She was retired from Frolic Footwear and was of the baptist belief. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Eddie Lea and his wife Martha of Jonesboro; a daughter Glenda Joy Lipsmeyer and her husband Andy of West Virginia; two grandchildren Elizabeth Louise Lea and Thomas Alaan Lipsmeyer; and a brother Leon Smith of Paragould.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Annie Viola Smith; her husband Carl Lea; a brother George Smith; and a sister Ruth Jones.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Bobby Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Sammy Crawford, Samuel Crawford, Jr., James Arthur Jones, Jr., Thomas Lipsmeyer and Ike McMeans.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
