Albertine L. Luyet

Albertine L. Luyet, 84, of Conway passed away Friday, November 20,2009, at Heritage Living Center. She was born on December 13,1924, in St. Vincent, AR, to the late John and Clara (Zimmerman) Hamling.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe V. Luyet, her parents, a grandson, Rusty Luyet, a sister, Bernice Dussex, and a brother, Louis Hamling

Albertine was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Christian Ladies Organization and was a RCIA sponsor. Because of her great love for children, she provided in-home childcare for 40 years.

She is survived by three sons, Tom Luyet and wife Linda, Ron Luyet and wife Judy, and Jim Luyet and wife Olga, all of Conway; one daughter, Karen Eubanks and husband Bob, also of Conway; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Hartman and Ernestine Moix, both of Conway.

She was affectionately known as "Tine” by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the children that she cared for.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 23, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. George Spangenberg, C.S.Sp. as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

A rosary service will be Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. A Christian Ladies rosary will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, also at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jimmy Luyet, Bobby Eubanks, Randy Luyet, Richard Luyet, Joe Luyet and Steven Luyet. Honorary pallbearers are John Luyet, Tim Luyet, Bob Eubanks and Fabian Dussex.
