Ruth Mildred Walter

Ruth Mildred Walter, 91, of Conway, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009.

She was born August 4, 1918, in Conway, to the late George M. and Nannie D. (Hopper) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Pete Walter, and seven siblings, Garland Smith, Marvin Smith, Dolph Smith, Gladys Watkins, Ruby Lachowsky, and Edna Givens.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Ralph Walter and wife Marilyn; a grandson, Jeremy Walter and wife Emily; a granddaughter, Erin Starbuck and husband David; and two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Noah, all of Conway.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Terry Parrish officiating.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
