Cathy McAteer

Cathy "CJ" McAteer of Clarksville, Arkansas, formerly of Camden, Arkansas, was born August 8, 1942, to her parents in Magnolia, Arkansas, and she went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 67. She was a homemaker, part-time receptionist at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, and an active member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.

She is survived by her son, Todd McAteer and his wife, Cathy, of Clarksville, a sister, Angela Reaves and her husband, Robert, of Joplin, Missouri, a brother, Paul Wayne Sanders and wife, Faye, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Katelynn and Kinley McAteer, of Clarksville, Arkansas, a special friend, Amos Pledger, and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cloys McAteer, and her parents, Paul and Eunice Dodson Sanders.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas, and a graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluff City, Arkansas. There will be visitations from 6-8 P.M., Monday, November 9, 2009, at Roller Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas, and 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden Arkansas.
