Lucille Hallman, 98, of Conway, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was born November 3, 1911, in Faulkner County, to the late John L. and Roxie (Davis) Pearson. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, R.M. Oliver, Otho Morgan, and James Hallman, a son, B.J. Pearson, and a granddaughter, Sharon Pearson. Lucille graduated from Central College, retired from International Shoe Company, and was a member of Conway’s First Baptist Church. She was very creative: designing clothing, formals, and growing flowers, especially roses. She was a good cook and loved to travel. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Petriscak and Faydean Mabry, both of Conway; three grandchildren, Robert Darling, Jr., David B. Darling and wife Leah, and Tom O. Mabry and wife Sandy; and by seven great-grandchildren, Garrett, Madison, and Kathryn Darling, Mitchell and Stewart Tice, and Natalie and Kristina Chudy. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
