Daniel Eric Rau of Bigelow, Arkansas died Thursday, September 15, 2005 in Conway Regional Health Center at the age of 46. He was born May 5th, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Kenneth John and Barbara Ilene Green Rau. He was retired from the Navy after 20 years of service.
He was survived by his wife of six years: Joyce Ritchey Rau, by three children: Kyle Rau and Cody Rau of Bigelow and Christine Rau of Litchfield, Minnesota; by two step-children: Nathaniel Carista of Emory, Texas and Molly Carista of Bigelow; two brothers: Ken Rau, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio and Thomas Rau of Roundhead, Ohio; sister: Cynthia Snyder of Forristel, Missouri; by his parents: Kenneth and Barbara Rau of Onalaska, Texas; by his Father and Mother-in-law: Johnny and Linda Ritchey of Greenville, Texas and by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, 1:00 pm September 19th at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock by Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Conway (501.327.7727) with visitation from 6-8 pm Sunday. On line guest register at: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
