I knew Robert since 2003 when I provided professional engineering services for the City of Maumelle, which concluded in 2005. I have been fortunate to work with him on occasion in my capacity as a Planning Commissioner since 2008. He was the consummate professional and wanted only the best for the City of Maumelle. He truly cared to provide the very best in his capacity as Public Works Director. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I worked for the City of Maumelle for a handful of years and was fortunate enough to have know this hardworking, dedicated, and considerate man. I remember many times Robert would come to City Hall 'at just the right time' of celebrating a birthday and there being breakfast pizza:) I am truly saddened by this tragic loss of Robert & Pat but am comforted in knowing that good can and will prevail. Prayers for family, friends, co-workers, and for their grandson Justin.

Lindi, there are no words to describe the sadness in our hearts. Just know that you and all of your family have been in my prayers constantly. I remember you and Shane as little children when Robert and I started working together so many years ago. I have many memories of those days and will keep them in my heart forever. May God's peace surround you all during this time.

Praying for the family.
Lindi and Shane you were blessed with parents who loved you very much. I know your hearts are hurting. My prayer is that God will comfort you and heal your grief as only He can. That He will bring to your minds precious memories you made with Robert and Pat throughout your life. . I had the great honor of being Pat's cousin and friend. She was one of my traveling buddies and Bible study ladies. She loved God and His Word. She loved Robert and her family with her whole heart. She and Robert were both generous and kind. I will miss both of your parents so much.
I knew Robert over 35 yrs. I will never forget the countless times Robert was out clearing ice & snow from our roads in the early mornings. He was such a dedicated & loyal person. No words can console the magnitude of your loss, but know my thoughts are with the families at this difficult time.
Just wanted to let you all know you have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry for the loss of good people. It is such a tragedy to lose family this way. My prayers go out to the family.
It breaks my heart that Robert and Pat, who worked all their lives, took care of others and were on the cusp of their retirement years, will not get to enjoy what they had earned and deserved. An Assassin's bullets ended all that. They were both nice, laid-back, low-key, but more importantly, kind people. Old friends are said to be the best. So, Rest in Peace old friends - you will not be forgotten.
Prayers for the family and sweet memories of you two that will last forever
You'll be missed but never forgotten. Both of you, RIL.
Lindi, Shane and families you are all in my thoughts and prayers!!! Good memories of you both from Harlan Park Day School.
