Raymond Powell, 72 of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on April 2, 2015 in New Blaine. He was born on October 17, 1942 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents John Wesley and Agens (Williamson) Powell. For several years Raymond worked in the Oilfield and was still working as a Horse Farrier. He attended First Assembly of God Church in Paris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Agnes (Williamson) Powell; one son, Toby Powell; three sisters, Dorothy Griffith, Evelyn Smith and Louise Greb; three brothers, Johnny Powell, George Powell and Eugene Greb and his ex-wife, Saundra Kay Powell, mother to Raymond Alan, Robbie and Toby.
He is survived by his three sons, Raymond Alan Powell and wife Tonya of Paris, Arkansas Robbie Powell of Paris, Arkansas and Zeb Powell of New Blaine, Arkansas; one step-son Tristan Justice of Ozone, Arkansas; four sisters, Mae Koerdt of Scranton, Arkansas Jackie Noland of Paducah, Kentucky, Suzie Stovall of Paris, Arkansas and Edna Shumway of Paris, Arkansas; four brothers, Danny Powell of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Leon Greb of Warner, Oklahoma, Bill Powell of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Carl Powell of Paris, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Alexis Powell, Dustin Powell, Evan Powell and Kennedy Powell; his ex-wife, Sandra Powell of New Blaine, Arkansas mother to Zeb and Tristan and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church in Paris. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearer will be all of his horse riding buddies

Well, I have known Raymond for years , worked with him in the oil field whin I was a kid.. He thought me a lot and kept me laughing.. Sure going to miss him.. Raymond Allen praying for y'all .. Love Ya Brother!!
