I .loved when Mr. Stout would tell me stories of his adventures on the white water rapids. Miss him greatly.
Our sympathy, thoughts, and prayers are with you at this time.
Oh Bobby, you wonderful man. So many happy memories....music, stained glass (you were my best pupil!), walking the labyrinth, and the fascination of flowing water and so much more.
Wonderful memories of a well lived life.
Ever grateful for knowing Bobby.
Condolences to all the family.

To the family of Bobby Stout:
We are truly saddened to learn of the death of our favorite uncle--the last of our dad's generation of Stouts. Since he was only a little older than we were, he was more like a cousin to us than an uncle.
We have precious memories of the good times we spent together at the Stout farm on the Washita River near Hammon, Oklahoma during the 1940's and '50's. He told us stories and inspired us to participate in outdoor activities--good and not so good--but always great fun!
We would have liked to spend time with him in our later years, and would have if he had lived closer. He wanted all of the cousins to join him for a kayaking trip in the activity that he loved so much. However, we lived so far away and were so heavily committed to our own family activities that he could never make it happen.
We are indeed grateful for the time we had with him as children. He truly enriched our lives and we feel so blessed to have had him for our uncle.

Bob, I will miss you my dear friend, but will see you again one day. You have been one of my closest friends ever and had such a major impact on my life. I was blessed enough to have you close for 30 years and will always remember the adventures , laughter and tears that we have shared. It has been an honor to have you in my life. Love you .
Dear Bob,
Scout wrote me today to tell me about your passage to the other side. I regret that I didn't spend more time with you the last couple of years but I'd like to recall some of your qualities as therapy for me on this sad occasion.
You had kind eyes. They were truly windows to your soul because you were a kind man. I don't remember you saying a bad word about anyone outside of politicians who tried to take your floating waters from you.
During a time when our country endured a very unpopular war, you were a warrior.
Kids loved you. Because you made time for them. To teach them River Craft. Field Craft. Life.
You drove a Mercedes.
"Nuff said. I look forward to seeing you on the other side, Bob. Recon the best smallmouth fishing over there for us.
I Love You,
Ranger Barney
Bobby,
I will miss you but think of you every time I cook your GrandMother's Dutch Oven Cobbler recipe.
The good times we had in canoes and rafts I will never forget.
Driving out west will be lonely for me and I will miss your stories from your Air Force time over seas.
You gave all of us so much friendship and good times and we all miss you being with us.
Dave

Bob, I remember having some great times on the river with you and you are going to be missed by a lot of your good ACC friends.
Bob was one of my first mentors when learning to kayak. He took me and Pat Crane down the Cadron. Mike and I also enjoyed rafting with him. I remember him rowing on Brown's Canyon in Colorado and the Yampa/Green rivers in Colorado/Utah. I will miss his kindness and friendship.
Dear Family of Bobby,
I share your sorrow and will miss Bobby. He shared his love of the rivers and was with so many friends on Buffalo River trips as well as many other favorite streams for many years.
