Crisanto Islas Quijano, 41, of Jonesboro, passed away May 3, 2014 at his home. He was a concrete worker. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and loved horses, cars, soccer and most of all, his children.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Floritzel Davila Bautista.
Survivors include his longtime companion of 13 years, Hayda Angela-Davila Bautista; two sons, Brian Elihu Davila and Angel Raxel Islas Davila; his parents, Miguel Islas Aguilar and Carmen Quijano; four brothers, Rene Islas, Carmelo Islas, Florencio Islas and Fredy Islas, all of Mexico; and four sisters, Georgina Islas, Rita Islas, Maria Oliva Islas and Mary Cruz Islas, all of Mexico.
The funeral liturgy outside of Mass will be held 2 pm Sunday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, with the funeral home opening at 12 pm. Bro. Jack Vu will officiate. Rosary will begin at 1 pm.
Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
