Kim and Joe, I just heard from Tammy. I am so, so sorry to hear of your sweet child. You have my sincere sympathy and prayers. Please if there is anything I can do to help let me know. I lost a brother on 4/24 and had his funeral 5/1. As my mother said no parent should have to outlive a child, but God has him where he is happy. There are times when my heart still aches, just as it does for you right now. I want you to know that I am here for you to talk to. I don't have all the answers,but might can help with what I do know. I do kow one thing, I was very thankful to see that he had eccepted the Lord at a young age. My son had too. I found alot of my comfort came from knowing where Josh was, and that is where you precious son Kegan is. You and all of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Kegan was one of the most kind and respectful young men I ever had the opportunity to know. It was an honor to know him and a joy to be around him. He helped me with coaching techniques and developing plays for my flag football team. When he came to work, it was like a breath of fresh air swept through the place. I always knew no matter what happened, with Kegan there everything would be better. We loved him and the patients adored him. I did some figuring. Keaton worked with us about 3 days a week for around a year, and we run around 10 patients in the unit on any given day. The way I calculate it, he touched 1560 patients in that period of time. What an awesome witness and testimony for such a young lad. People live to be very old and could never remotely touch that many souls, yet Kegan did that in just a very short period pf time. Kim and Joe, just please know how much he was loved and he did mighty works. There are no words to express how very sorry I am he is no longer here with us. The grief seems so insurmountable and so much bigger than we can comprehend, may you take comfort in knowing he accepted Jesus and as a Christian to be absent in this body is to be present with Him. No doubt he earned many jewels in his crown in his year of service to others. I will miss my sweet friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of mourning.
