Martha B. Scroggin, 80, of Little Rock, went to plant her flowers in Heaven on Friday, March 15, 2013. She was born September 18, 1932 in Emmett, Arkansas, to the late Margaret McKelroy and Sid Sutton Dougan. She retired as Activities Director of a nursing home. She was a lady who reflected the love of Christ and exemplified service to all family, friends, acquaintances and even strangers. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Scroggin, brothers J.R. Dougan and Raymond Dougan, sisters Ora Avery and Lily Stewart, and daughter Rita-Kay Jones.
She is survived by daughters Nadine Baxter-Hale (Jim) of Little Rock and Darlene ''Dot'' Daniel (Dale) of Prescott; five grandchildren Devin Henson (Kyle), Ben Martin (Maribel), Haley House (Johnathan), Morgan Daniel and Darby Daniel; four great-grandchildren Drake, Karsen, Brandon and Casey; sister, Helen Morris of Gurdon; brothers Carl Dougan (Roberta) of Emmett, and Ben Dougan (Kathleen) of Hope; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas, (501)224-8300.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at the funeral home, with Mr. Chuck Monan officiating. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas, with Mr. Johnathan House officiating.

We were thrilled to reconnect with Martha at our new Church home at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. It was a natural fit to sit in Bible class with her on Sunday mornings and we send to her family our condolences and love.
