James H. Scroggins, 83, of West Memphis, AR, passed away Saturday March 6, 2010 at Broadway Healthcare in West Memphis, AR. He was a member of the West Memphis First Assembly of God church; member of the VFW and an Army Veteran. He also fought in the Korean War. Mr. Scroggins was preceded in death by his wife, Cordie Scroggins and his son, James R. Scroggins. He is survived by his son, Alan Scroggins of Bolivar, TN; three daughters, Lisa McAlister of Marion, AR, Norma Russell of Middleton, TN and Brenda Lancaster of Crawfordsville, AR; his sister, Ellie Sue Young of Concord, CA; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The visitation will be Monday March 8, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR. The service will be Tuesday March 9, 2010 in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 A.M. with interment following the service in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.
