Maribelle Lyons, 93, of England, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. She was born on March 16, 1916 in Dardanelle, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Everett and Sally Crow Harmon. She was a homemaker and active in the England PTA. She was a life-long Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church of England, United Methodist Women, Arkansas China Painters Association and President of the Ladies Golf Association at the England Country Club, where she won the club championship in 1986. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, F.H. Lyons, Sr., and one sister, Laveda Mae Anderson.
She is survived by one son, F.H. Lyons, Jr. and his wife, Marilyn of Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter, Joi Burton and her husband, Frank, of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren, Tracy Lyons and his wife, Jennifer, of Sherrill, Arkansas, Kim Lovelace and her husband, Dennis, of England, Arkansas; Jody Lyons and his wife, Tanya, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Leslie Lyons-Stecks of Little Rock, Arkansas, Eric Burton and his wife, Patricia, of Seattle, Washington, Dina Steiner and her husband, Karl, of Dallas, Texas, Tommy Murchison, III and his wife, Cathy, of Cabot, Arkansas, Lee Murchison of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dawn Tomescko and her husband, John, of Bentonville, Arkansas; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Benny Frank Bates of White Hall, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Roller-England Funeral Home Chapel, (501) 842-3939, by her granddaughter, Reverend Dina Steiner and Reverend Ryan Rush officiating. Pallbearers will be Tracy Lyons, Jody Lyons, Tommy Murchison, III, Lee Murchison, Dennis Lovelace, Franklin Lyons and Peyton Lyons. Entombment will be at Mulberry Cemetery Mausoleum in England, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of England, 200 NE 2nd Street, England, Arkansas 72046, or to a charity of individuals choice.
I miss you soo much! Its been a year since your death and you are missed dearly! I can barely go a day without thinking about you. Love you with all of my heart.

We were so sorry to hear of Mari's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. We have wonderful memories of she and Daddy Lyons from the apples on Halloween to all the great meals and watching her working in her yard which was always so beautiful! We think of you often and love you very much.
