Charles Edgar McPherson, 95, of Maumelle went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born November 30, 1928 in Keo, AR to the late Edgar and Donnie McPherson of Mayflower. Charles was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his son, Wayne (Mary Nell) McPherson of Maumelle; 7 daughters, Evelyn (Andy) Carmack of Maumelle, Elizabeth (Bobby) Edwards of Mayflower, Patricia Swindle of Vilonia, Barbara Show of North Little Rock, Beverly Edwards of Mayflower, Linda (Ricky) Jenkins of Crossett, Drondia McPherson of Arkadelphia; his sister, Elizabeth Reeves of Clinton; 21 grandkids; 40 great-grandkids; 9 great-great grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles worked for Colonial Baking company in Little Rock for 33 years until he retired, he then worked for the city of Maumelle for 7 years. He was a faithful member of the Little Country Church in Conway. Charles enjoyed working in his yard and flower beds, sitting in his swing watching hummingbirds. He also loved riding in his truck and telling stories.
The family would like to extend a Special Thanks to Baptist Home Health and Baptist Health Hospice Care. Also, Gap Mission Church in Conway and Friendly Chapel in North Little Rock.
There will be a visitation Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10am located at Roller McNutt Funeral home in Conway, AR. Immediately followed by funeral services at 11:00am. The burial will be at Mayflower Cemetery in Mayflower, AR.

Charles was a GREAT neighbor for over 45 years! We will miss seeing him drive by most every afternoon in his gray truck. He may be headed to Wal-Mart or just for a drive. He waved every time!
