Azalee and Junior were both strong influences in my life from the time I was 4 years old and my family moved down the road from them. They were the true definition of what God meant neighbors to be. They were always a help with anything the Broadaway family needed. I loved attending church with them! I thank God for the example they set for me.
Love,
Stephanie Broadaway Neely
Oh sweet Azalee, how your St. Bernards Village family will miss you so much...You came to exercise every day except Fridays, which is when you'd go visit with the ladies in our Country Store...You loved taking the bus to go eat and to the movies, sitting at the puzzle table (so excited when you found a piece to fit:). You loved visiting with our Puppy Paws visitors and always talked about your own dog. If we didn't see you in the halls, you were probably sitting by your window engrossed in a good book. You were with us for a long time and SBV just won't be the same without you. You personally touched my heart and I will miss you so much....To Jim and Kaye, our sincere condolences...
Jimmy, Tim, Jason and families, we are so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. I have a lot of memories of Miss Azalee and JR. I know she loved to bake goodies for our gang at the hospital, and one of our favorites were her pecan pies. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you all during this difficult and most sad time.
