Madam Colding was the jack of all trades, and was well known for good cleaning, good cooking, and knowing good music.

She attended the Oakland School District and graduated in 1970 with her first child. Here she obtained her first job in a record store and found her passion for jazz and blues. She later attended Laney College for cosmetology and spent a few years fixing hair amongst the community. Shortly after she shifted her talents to the San Francisco hotel industry alongside her sister. Pat had an ear for Jazz and Blues, she spent a lot of her free time listening to records on her antique record player and playing CD's. She was a loving and witty person and enjoyed preparing food for those she loved during her free time. Well known for her homemade pound cakes and making pies. She was also an extreme thriftier and had a special eye for a good brass what-not.
